Arbitrators are required to tender a decision within a two-month, 60 day period of receiving written correspondence for the dispute.
This period of time might be extended if the household goods shipper does not follow up with requests for information in a timely manner, as decided by the arbitration agency.

My car currently has 17000 miles on it. I filed a lemon law claim in July 2014 for a faulty transmission. I was driving up my driveway when the car fell out of gear and rolled backwards down the driveway. I have also had the car in for repeated jerking at low speeds. This is a very common issue with this car. I have had the car in a total of 4 times for the same issue. I have not yet filed a BBB arbitration hearing, but my lawyer seems to think it might be a waste of my time. The cars value is significantly less than it should be. Do I continue to bring it in for service and try again? Or at this point is all hope lost?I hired an attorney who sent the claim to ford who rejected it.
